A strong middle class is what makes a society great. Unfortunately, in New York City it is under attack from the high cost of living in every direction.
I have seen friends and family leave New York because the cost of living is too high. Homes are too expensive, rent is too expensive and let's not get started on greedy Con Edison and insurance companies.
Our district has some of the highest Con Edison delivery rates in the city while the CEO made over $14 million dollars in 2024.
As your assemblymen I will advocate for laws to change the New York State Public Service Commission, the agency responsible for Con Edison oversight.
In addition I will advocate for more oversight over insurance agencies, whether they be auto, home, or healthcare, which continually take advantage of working New Yorkers while setting record profits.
